I build scalable cloud infrastructure and intelligent automation tools.

About

I'm a software engineer and former SDE at AWS Dublin, where I worked on the CloudWatch Predictions team maintaining ML-powered anomaly detection services processing millions of customer metrics across 50+ AWS regions. My experience spans time-series forecasting, distributed systems, and production incident resolution at scale.

Before AWS, I graduated from Maynooth University with a BSc in Computer Science in 2025. I've always been into computers from a young age, whether that was building PCs or getting into robotics and embedded systems, so software development was always the direction I was heading.

To fund my way through college I worked as a chef, first at Stone Haven restaurant and then at the West Grove Hotel. The passion for food stuck with me even after hanging up the apron. Outside of work I run an extensive homelab with Raspberry Pi clusters, Docker containers, and self-hosted services. I'm passionate about automation, local AI inference, and building tools that solve real problems like my Amazon FBA research platform that helps sellers make data-driven sourcing decisions.

Experience

  1. 2025 — 2026

Software Development Engineer (L4) Amazon Web Services

Maintained ML-powered anomaly detection on the CloudWatch Predictions team. Processed millions of customer metrics across 50+ AWS regions using Holt-Winters time-series forecasting, DynamoDB, and microservices architecture. Handled production incident resolution for critical monitoring infrastructure.

Projects

  • FBA Research Tool

Product intelligence platform for Amazon FBA sellers. Tracks prices and BSR rankings across 1M+ price records, discovers deals with AI-powered supplier lookup, and monitors watchlisted products for buy-timing opportunities. All self-hosted on a homelab with zero cloud cost. Actively developed with new features shipping regularly.

  • Esha Agro Farms

Freelance client project for a local farm in Nigeria looking to gain visibility and sell more product. Built the site from scratch using Astro 5 and Tailwind CSS, deployed through Cloudflare Pages with Git-based CI/CD. The client provided imagery and I put together the full site architecture and design. Communications throughout were great, the client is really happy with the end result, and since launch the site has been driving real traffic and orders.
